iPhone Text Notifications replicates the iPhone's popular "Slide To Unlock" SMS feature on your Android device without attempting to replace the default lock screen or messaging application. This lightweight app displays incoming SMS and MMS messages anytime your screen is locked, and it allows you to swipe to unlock the phone to the corresponding message thread. User preferences allow you to specify how the app will handle incoming messages, including whether or not the screen will automatically turn on, if the lock screen will be bypassed, and if the message text will be displayed on the lock screen. Multiple unread messages are handled in the same fashion as iPhone, with the app expanding to full screen while displaying each unique message. While the app is active, the rest of the screen is disabled, meaning you don't have to worry about errant presses when in your pocket. Simply press the Home button to dismiss all messages and to continue to use the phone as you normally would.

**Please note that this app is only intended to be used with the stock messaging app. If you have installed a third party SMS app, such as Handcent, this app will not display messages properly on your device.

Permissions Explained:
1) Receive SMS - must have access to incoming SMS messages in order to display
2) Read SMS - read incoming SMS messages to display message text on screen
3) Receive MMS - receive incoming MMS messages to alert user.
4) Wake Lock - turn screen on when new message is received and screen is currently off
5) Read Contacts - get and display proper contact name for incoming messages
6) Get Tasks - list currently running tasks to determine if multiple messages have been received and app is currently running
7) Internet - required for ads displayed in free version
8) Access Network State - required for ads displayed in free version
