TTS Aholab, the app that gives you your own voice

TTS Aholab is presented as an application for mobile devices on the Android platform whose goal is to improve, support and enrich the communication of people with language disabilities.

The application seeks to provide the necessary means for these people to have the necessary resources to be able to express themselves in a variety of contexts. To do this, it makes use of a text to speech converter that provides the user if you want a voice custom and unique.

The use of the service is optimized for users registered on the platform Zure_TTS (aholab.ehu.is/zureTTS) of the Aholab research group of the UPV/EHU. This platform provides the necessary means for the user to create a custom model of your own voice.

The application consists of the following functionality:

• Synthesis of text to speech, custom, and available in several languages (Spanish, basque, English, chinese, Slovak, and Catalan) as well as the possibility of configuring various parameters of synthesis such as the speed, tone, volume, etc
• Management and administration of voiceovers and categories. The user can create and categorize the different phrases according to your preferences and needs being able to create, rename, or delete categories as well as play, create, rename, delete, add to favourites, add to the Conversation Mode, assign a gesture or obtain information from the different files for synthesis.
• file Repository synthesis Favourites, so that the user can quickly access to play those synthesis that you use the most.
• Library and system of allocation of gestures, where the user can assign a gesture to the different synthesis to reproduce them later quickly and intuitively from any point of the application.
• Conversation Mode, focused to provide a service of synthesis fast, direct and straight to try to meet the needs that a person with a disability oral may be the time to try to establish a conversation with another person. This mode consists of:
