Bella Ciao Milano is a project of the Federation of the metropolitan of the Democratic Party, conceived in preparation of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Italy and Europe from nazi-fascism.
The project aims to introduce to new generations the historical events, the sacrifice and the political passions that animated the men and women of the Italian Resistance in the european union, together with the values of freedom and democracy, at the origin of the Italian Republic and of the united Europe.

Bella Ciao Milano, aims at experimenting with languages and tools consistent with the contemporary world and can engage the new generation. For this purpose, it intends to make available and accessible the archival material made available by the historical and associations, as well as through its internet website, through an application for mobile devices that allow you to learn and explore in an autonomous way, the thematic paths and to the places where they carried out the historical facts related to the Resistance in Milan.

Thanks to the geolocation system, the user downloads the app Bella Ciao Milano on your mobile support can visit the places of memory along paths that are designed on specific topics. For each path will be created of the points that bring to events or circumstances in which you will be able to know and learn of the exploits of the women and men who have acted illegally, but also to understand how people lived during the nazi-fascist occupation, and how the citizens protected themselves from hunger, from persecution and from the bombings.
