Why we started Crewmojo:

87% of the world's workforce are not happy in their work* and this research aligns with our own observations where we see many of today's work practices reflecting old-school structures from the industrial revolution. Managers used to dictate every step to frontline staff, treating individuals as resources with no valued input. We see so much of this management style prevailing in today's workplace and we want to change it. We think managers should be coaching their team, removing hurdles and building them up to be the best they can.

We passionately believe that teams perform to their full potential only when the individuals are fundamentally happy. This isn't to do with superficial perks such as beer and ping pong, it's to do with the innate requirements of healthy human relationships. It's about an environment where individuals can count on each other to do what they said they would, where each individual wants to be accountable to each other because they don't want to let the team down.
