Soldiers are kept in front of the city wall on either side of a river bridge. The river serves as a dividing line between the two halves of a horizontal display. Only after many henchmen are defeated does anyone in the back line reveal their position. Bosses come in different levels of difficulty. These high-ranked figures can be hard to eliminate, with the ability to annihilate the military force you plan to face. They may also appear as a giant with a fierce visage and two hands that grasp two bladed weapons. A boss bloated with muscle features blood vessels floating throughout its body. Each time the boss lands a blow, it can reduce its minions' health by half.

Located in the middle of a vast ocean, your country is an island with a rich history. It's divided into regions by red dashed lines; specific requirements must be met in each region before it can be unlocked. Different regions need different requirements, including different terrain. A player might have to defend a small tower in the middle of the map that provides protection for a larger castle or chariot. The player can restart the game if they die. They must eliminate all enemies before progressing. Various events held by the game — such as the annual or special events — grant rewards and extra items to play with. Added bonuses are earned through special events or completing specific battles. Players can also earn bonus chests based on their border color. These bonus chests hold high value gifts, which can be opened with a specific code. Unlocking a new soldier card or rare cards for that soldier can be earned by earning trophies.
