Fiqih according to the language means : to know and understand, while according to the term, many experts fiqih (fuqoha') define different but mempuyai the same purpose between them :

Ulma' Hanafi defines fiqih is :
عِلْمٌ يُبَيِّنُ اْلحُقُوْقَ وَاْلوَاجِبَآتِ الَّتِي تَتَعَلَّقُ بِأَفْعَآلِ اْلمُكَلَّفِيْنَ
“Science claims all rights and obligations related practice the mukalaf”.

Whereas according to followers of Al Syafi'i say that fiqih (science fiqih) that is :
العِلْمُ الَّذِي يُبَيِّنُ الأَحْكَامَ الشَّرْعِيَّةَ الَّتِي تَتَعَلَّقُ بِأَفْعَآلِ اْلمُكَلَّفِيْنَ اْلمُسْتَنْبِظَةِ مِنْ اَدِلَّتِهَآ التَّفْصِيْلِيَّةِ
“science explain everything the law of the religion associated with the work of the mukallaf, are issued (diistimbatkan) of a proposition-a proposition that obviously (tafshili)”.

So can be inferred from difinisi-the definition above, fiqih is : the science which explains about the law syar'iyah associated with all actions of man, either of speech or deed, taken from nash-nash, or from mengistinbath proposition-a proposition syariat Islam.
