A challenge doesn't end once the number of characters on a game screen reaches a certain limit. Instead, additional characters can be recruited over time— resulting in a need for more space and new strategies.

The player starts the level in a room with empty spaces that have been converted into rooms for other warriors. Accessing rooms of a similar function melds into the next higher quality room. You need enough space in your rooms to house multiple recruits. These rooms are where your warriors live and are available for recruitment. Confusingly deciding where to place the field character in a series of challenging battles, you defeat your opponent. New characters appear before the player and provide them with various tools. These characters help the player care for characters that can participate in a match. ———
