Simple app for benchmarking your device (CPU, memory). Quickie Benchmark sorts integer numbers and shows you the time it was needed in milliseconds. No complicated scores that nobody understands. How fast are you?

The numbers, that are to be sorted, are random (actually pseudo random) generated where each number is between 1 and 1,000,000. The initial numbers are random but they are always the same (for the programmers: the same seed is used). Thus you don't have to worry that your friend will get easier to sort set of numbers. In the App you can choose to sort
100,000
1,000,000 or
2,000,000 numbers.

For the sorting Quickie Benchmark uses the almighty QuickSort algorithm. One can read more about the mechanics of the algorithm at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quicksort .
